The transparent background allows the very beautiful movement to appear, which works perfectly and offers a completely satisfactory operating reserve! Arrived quickly in a well-protected box. The watch is of good quality and works well. The details and materials are good. The nato bracelet adds thickness to the watch, which is already enough. So i've been wanting this watch for a few years now. They had a good sale so i snapped it up. I got the 38mm with the acrylic crystal, no gooseneck regulator...basically the cheapest model. I wanted the vintage military look, and this watch delivered! Wasn't expecting the embossed "1963" case, very nice touch! It's a mechanical chronograph, at the price there isn't much more to say, just get it!

Shipping took forever. As nice as expected. Wasn't impressed with the nylon strap. However, the brown band is so soft, i doubt if it's genuine leather. It's comfy, though. The watch works perfectly, looks perfect, and is just as described. The blue protective tape on the tips of the crown and pushers are really annoying. They are so stuck on, you'll scratch the steel trying to get them off - completely defeating the purpose of them to begin with. The rest of the stickers came off fine. For the price, this is an absolute no-brainer. Honest website, trustworthy. Kind of a mixed review, but i like to be honest, too.

Very nice little watch. Good vintage feel and look. Both straps are a bit average but both look the part and it comes with a spring at removal tool so swapping off the nato and on to the brown 'leather' strap is easy (and it looks much nicer on this one in my opinion).

What can i say about the 1963 that hasn't already been said a million times? This is an absolute classic and i can only say i regret having waited so many years into my watch collecting journey to finally pick one up. As far as i can tell, multiple companies sell these- not sure if they are all made in the same place, but i was pleased to see the one from this website is well built. The dial on mine is slightly crooked counter-clockwise by maybe 2 degrees but honestly, for the price i really can't complain. Using a timegrapher app on my phone i'm getting results of about +0 to +1 second per day, which matches to the real world experience from wearing it the past week or so i've had it. It doesn't get any better than that.



Time will tell as far as durability in the long term, but for now i'm 100% satisfied with this beautiful little watch.

In its purest form, 38mm, acrylic (it gives an unbelievably warm and beautiful dial that no crystal could replicate), and no gooseneck. A truly wonderful watch. Get your hands on one, before it's too late.

I love this watch. I had bought one on the seagull brand's website, but it had cost me twice as much. When I had an issue, I preferred to buy a Red Star instead of making a repair to remove the falling needle. The repair would have cost me more than the price of this Red star which is identical to the seagull.

Very nice and detailed watch. I have a 16.5cm wrist and I got the 40mm version. The movement is very beautiful to see and very precise: I have been carrying it for 15 days and still marks the correct time, without needing any adjustment. The charging reserve is good, just give a small charge every about 30 hours and it never stops. It comes with two straps, which honestly aren't large, but can be easily changed. The packaging is pretty nice and taken care of. Definitely recommended, I would buy it again.

Love it! This is exactly what i was searching for - very good build quality and it's definitevily a talking piece. Many people have complimented my watch and ask about it. My only caveat is that it is a manual wind so you need to wind it at least once a day or it will stop fully.

The reputation of the watch is not usurped. I would have liked a slightly shiny box with a little more brushed but it's a taste story. the bracelet is correct. The watch is not too thick because the thickness is in good part due to the pumped glass. the dial is superb.

The watch looks amazing on my around 6.5 inch (16,5 cm) wrist. The supplied leather strap looks cheap and the green nato strap does not feel good either. That is why i put some black vintage leather strap and now it is great.

What an absolute beauty of a mechanical watch for the price. One for every serious mechanical/automatic movement fan! Ridiculously quick shipping. Ordered sunday night, received early sunday morning (odd in australia to receive parcels on a sunday, but did today! ).

This watch and has pleasantly surprised me. It has an elegant design, it is comfortable to wear and the quality is noticeable. Works with precision. Certainly a great purchase. Amazing an automatic watch at that price. I recommend it!

As in the description, it came with the natural and Brown straps, I'll buy and install the green leather. It is a pity that the minute hand is not the same as the second, or like the original. Everything else perfect.

The watch is well packaged and quickly arrived at my place. The work is beautiful and runs in Plus with about 15 seconds. Comes in a box. I particularly like it with Maike's leather strap. She's a little fat. Otherwise I am very satisfied.

I chose the acrylic crystal version to stay as true to the original as possible. It’s the perfect size for my 6.5 inch wrist. The watch feels light on the wrist but does not lack presence. It does feel a bit thick thanks to the domed crystal and NATO strap but will fit comfortably under the sleeve. Love the gold indices and numerals. The blue colored hands feel a bit tacky but that’s acceptable at this price. My first chronograph and I’m loving it. Arrived in time, well packaged. I recommend this website.

Lugs are really long so they look better with a NATO strap. Watch was fairly accurate, with ±2s/day on mine. And of course, the watch was plainly gorgeous.

Great watch, just as described! I went for the 38mm acrylic with goose neck. The gooseneck I received was black. The watch works well, except for the top chronograph button, witch jams and is really hard to press. The bottom chronograph button works fine, and the movement is gorgeous :-)

The clock arrived in a very short time, its design reflected expectations. It is done well apart from the paint next to the buttons which is seen to be painted with BDC. The Spring charge is soft and the Chrono also works well. On the bottom it is very nice to see. I didn't test it at the chronocomparator because I didn't have time but I must say that I find it very precise by eye. At the moment, for the rest, I have nothing to say.

The Crown and the chronograph buttons came with the top in blue, I would have preferred them to be made of steel, but it doesn't look bad either. nice watch but it's a little small. I knew the nato would be crap so it's been swapped and that simple change makes the watch look 10 tomes better. the dial is 100% acrylic but looks nice domed. this is a really nice watch. nice presentation case with red star written on it. the soare leather strap is crap though very cheap looking.

Very hard. The dial is very very golden. If you want something a little lighter, champagne type, take the 40 mm version, this 38 is gold color, as is. However, it is also very beautiful, this version is more contained and better balanced than the 40mm. Make No mistake, the 40 is not ugly at all, it is also a real pass. I love this clock, the 38 mm suits my 16cm wrist perfectly, the bracelet I bought separately, I prefer it to the born or to the leather strap which are still of a good quality.

I wanted to wait a little bit before making a review, to really get my thoughts on this watch. I really like it, it feels premium and with regulation, it’s very accurate. I have about +5 seconds per day after regulating. The metal bracelet wasn’t really needed, and I’d recommend just springing for the “gooseneck” add on if you’re trying to get the most premium version of this, and skipping the metal bracelet as the leather fits the watch way better, and just committing to sapphire and the “gooseneck” regulator. The only real complaint I have is that the back glass is quite soft, especially compared to the sapphire. I’ve already managed to scratch it, and it’s either been on my wrist, in a box, or on a desk, the entire time I’ve owned it. If you get the sapphire crystal, set it down crystal first to avoid scratching this seemingly super soft back glass. It doesn’t show up on camera, but it’s pretty large and deep.

Everything is OK, the watch came in approx. 7 days to PL also fast shipping and same delivery. Well secured for transport with the case itself and other accessories.

This is a surprisingly nicely finished watch for the price.
It's currently running at aroun +2 seconds per day, which is amazingly good for a lower cost watch. The decoration on the movement is quite nice, even if machine applied. The dial colour and gold-tone numerals look vintage without looking fakely aged. The NATO strap is a little thin, but the khaki colour suits it's military nature. The brown leather is okay to mediocre.

A living object on my wrist, I like it! I will rewind it as long as it will last, a few years I hope. Servicing will cost about the price of the watch so I will be careful with it.

Watch is of good quality, sapphire crystal is a bit too reflective for my liking but it’s great, it runs about 4-7 seconds/day fast. The lume is pretty weak, the red seconds hand is almost perfectly straight but not spot on. The minute hand has a little white blemish on it. Overall, good quality for the money.

Very beautiful watch and faithful to the original 38mm with puffy plexi (the Sapphire has a different bezel and changes the aesthetics a lot). Arrived well packed, with a cleaning mop, an extra leather strap and tool to remove the pins from the born strap strap. The watch has arrived very well adjusted, + 3 seconds/day and a beat 0,2 error.
