Digital Pet Video Games : Tamagotchi Plaza

The Tamagotchi Plaza video game was announced by Nintendo as part of its Nintendo Direct livestream as the latest creation from Bandai that’s focused on the iconic digital pet. The video game sees players acting as shopkeepers where they are working to get the town ready for the Tamagotchi festival. The game will also connect with the Tamagotchi Uni digital pet to further immerse fans in the experience by tying the digital pet with the video game.

The Tamagotchi Plaza video game will arrive June 27, 2025 on the Nintendo Switch console and comes as part of the continued popularization of cozy gaming as consumers seek out comforting titles to enjoy on their free time. The game is suited for a wide range of age ranges.
