The Amazon Buy for Me feature is being tested by the brand as a new artificial intelligence (AI) functionality that will enable consumers to make purchases beyond the parameters of the eCommerce platform. The feature works by providing shoppers with products and suggestions that aren’t limited to its own stock, but instead spanning additional websites. Users can then click the Buy for Me button, which will prompt the AI assistant to make the purchase through the third-party website.

The Amazon Buy for Me feature comes as an intuitive tool for helping shoppers to access even more products and could expand the brand’s reach even further by handling purchases in additional ways. The feature is currently being tested by a small number of users in the US.
