How to Check if This Router Will Work in Your Country:
- Contact your local communication operator to confirm the LTE frequency bands supported in your area.
- If the local LTE frequency bands match the ones supported by the router, it will work in your country.
For example, in South Korea, the 4G frequency bands are B1/3/5/7/8. If the router supports B1/3/5/7/8/20/38/39/40/41, it will work in South Korea.
Important Usage Information:
- Not Supported:
- Special SIM cards like eSIM, IOT SIM, Roaming SIM, and unlimited data SIM cards.
- SIM Card PIN Code/Lock:
- If your SIM card has a PIN or lock, you must disable the PIN code on your phone or through your communication operator for the router to recognize the SIM card.
- If this is not done, the router will show no SIM (it will connect to Wi-Fi but not the network).
- Transmission Rate:
- The 150Mbps/300Mbps/866Mbps are theoretical transmission rates. The actual speed may vary based on environmental factors and network conditions.
- Do not purchase the router if you are focused solely on the theoretical transmission rate.
How to Use the LTE Router:
- Insert SIM Card:
- Insert the required SIM card into the router. The router will automatically detect and match the best LTE frequency bands available.
- Access Web UI:
- After connecting to Wi-Fi, open a browser and enter the Web UI IP address. This address is located on the label of the router.
- Login:
- Enter the username and password. The default for most LTE routers is “admin”. If this is not the case, check the label on your router.
- Check Internet Status:
- If your SIM card data is not showing, contact the support team for assistance.
- Check Wi-Fi Status:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi status is active and stable.
- Network Mode:
- Set the network mode to “4G only”. If there is no 4G signal, it means your area might have a weak 4G signal, or only 3G is available.
- Enter APN Information:
- Go to APN Management and enter the APN settings for your SIM card. Without this, the router will connect to Wi-Fi but won’t have internet access. You can obtain APN info from your communication operator.
- Change Wi-Fi Settings:
- Modify the Wi-Fi name and password according to your preferences.
