It looks like a somewhat weak plastic. I installed it and the image quality looks good. You can configure recording modes for motion or always-on. Light turns on by motion sensor. Alarms sent to the cell phone. I found it good, good value for money. I already bought the second one.
The product matches the description and expectations. I have already purchased 9 such cameras. The latest model is improved, and I must admit that I like the way the mount connects to the camera. Previously, it was difficult to screw in the bolts while standing on a ladder, but now the quick connector allows for easy, faster, and safer installation.
