Whilst the playback speed is just about adequate, the record speed is very slow. 20gb took two and a half hours to record. whilst it may be tolerable for fixed data, anything that might require later editing or revision is largely not really viable. on loading the speed fluctuates between periods of no transfer and shorter periods of very slow transfer. not a viable alternative to good quality micro sd cards sourced from the uk.
