StarTech.com 6ft Purple CAT6a Shielded Ethernet Cable

Designed for demanding 10GBASE-T networks, this CAT6a cable delivers consistent high-speed data transfer with minimal signal loss. Perfect for network switches, NAS devices, and SFP modules, ensuring stable connections for critical data and low-latency applications.

Utilizes 27AWG pure bare copper wire for excellent conductivity and low resistance. Each twisted pair is individually shielded with aluminum-mylar foil and tinned copper braiding to minimize electromagnetic interference, providing clear signal transmission in various environments.

The cable features snagless connectors with 50-microinch gold-plated contacts to prevent wear and maintain signal integrity. Its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flame-retardant jacket reduces toxic smoke emissions, making it ideal for use in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas such as industrial, transportation, and residential installations.

Supports up to 100 watts of Power over Ethernet (PoE++) enabling connection and power delivery to devices like PoE switches, access points, and IP cameras without separate power cables.

This cable is backward compatible with CAT6 and CAT5/5e standards, allowing easy integration into existing networks. Each cable undergoes individual testing with advanced Fluke testing devices and carries ETL certification to guarantee CAT6a performance and reliability.
