Discussion
wonderful
Extremely high quality. Seems every bit as good as what i would expect from a product manufactured by fujifilm themselves. It fits beautifully, the threading is fine and precise, and i love the look.
I don't think anyone would do this, but I'll leave a review in hopes of helping someone. I wanted to attach a square-shaped lens hood to my Pergear 25mm f1.8 and was looking for a square-shaped hood like Hoage, but couldn't find one I liked. I finally found this one for the X100 series. I bought it as a last resort, trying to see if I could make it work, but realized it was almost perfect with a step-up ring that converts the filter diameter from 43mm to 52mm. I glued it horizontally with Aron Alpha, and it turned out really cool. I can also attach a 52mm ND filter and it fits any 43mm lens, so reusing it is a good point (it didn't cause vignetting with the Pergear 25mm f1.8). Be careful not to attach it to the lens before the Aron Alpha is completely dry, as it could stick to the lens. (Please note that this modification is at your own risk.)
