This is a direct comparison to the air 3, which i used daily since december 2021. They lasted about five years before the battery failed, so i hope this helps other soundpeats air 3 owners.

Sound on the air 5 lite is noticeably better: stronger bass and mids, and a fuller overall sound. So far no connection issues, a nice change from the air 3, which sometimes had one bud disconnect or fail to charge. Toward the end the right bud played at roughly 25% volume.

Design is a miss, fully glossy plastic looks toy-like and slips. I preferred the air 3's matte, premium feel. I'll probably buy silicone anti-slip covers.

The app and sound customization are still disgusting. I can't enable in-ear detection/auto-pause on the air 5 lite, there is no button in the app or manual. Feels like an upgrade in hardware but a downgrade in features. Thanks to discounts and coupons, i paid about the same as for the air 3, so i'm not too frustrated.

Excellent earbuds! After trueair2 and 4,5 years i decided to upgrade my earbuds. Air5 lite is perfect for my ears.

Yes, due to active noise canceling there is constant "white noise". But you noticed only when watching film in complete silence. For music and entertainment videos they are great.

One disadvantage: a bit inconvenient pulling them from the case.

P.s. Yesterday, i purchased one more item while this website gives big discount (-60%) on it.
