I bought the covers to carry flashlights, and they do their job quite well. Although the material is not very thick, I wanted them to prevent the flashlights from bumping against the backpack. The material is smooth and slippery.

It didn't work for me since the length and width are correct, but not the depth... Anyway, the material and construction are good.
