It holds for a while but then releases, even with the lock activated. I've tried it on several surfaces, it almost broke my phone; it's not reliable on the dashboard.
My phone can't be supported by the stand because of the weight; the stand can't handle the weight and heat, or something is wrong with it; it's not good for me.
