The pink dial is shade that glows under the sun and makes it a fun watch for summer. Straight out of the box though, the watch arrived looking dirty, with smudges and debris that should never have passed any reasonable quality check. Thankfully the dial is clean, only the exterior was dirty. On top of this, the lume application is blatantly inconsistent as the 2nd hour pip glows noticeably dimmer than every other marker, a clear factory defect that ruins the uniformity of the dial. Another negative is the clasp. It is stubbornly difficult to close, fighting you at every attempt due to poor machining or misalignment. I give props to pd for using screws, but it's not well executed as some are stubbornly tight while others were good and easy to remove without fuss.
With all these negatives i'm sure i know why most of us are here- a cheap watch with good looks and this delivers. That said i do not think i'll revisit further pd watches.
