Haven't printed yet, but it looks decent - box, reel, vacuum, silica gel, winding is even. I'll check it in printing and update.
OPY Nylon 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm 1kg
Durable 1.75mm Nylon (PA) filament for 3D printing. Features excellent wear resistance, flexibility, and toughness. Suitable for multiple 3D printer models.
Durable and Flexible Nylon Filament
Our OPY Nylon filament is designed for 3D printing applications requiring strong mechanical properties and flexibility. As a polyamide, it provides excellent impact resistance, making it suitable for functional parts.
Nylon’s flexibility allows bending to certain angles without breaking, ideal for gears and industrial components that endure wear and tear.
Wide Compatibility and Optimal Printing Conditions
Compatible with many popular 3D printers including Makerbot, UP, Luzbot, Leapfrog, Reprap, Ultimaker, Mendel, Prusa, and Raise3D devices.
The filament prints best at temperatures ranging from 230°C to 250°C, with a heated bed temperature between 70°C and 100°C to minimize warping.
- Recommended print speed: 20–50 mm/s
- Use heated bed and consider sealing chamber for best results
Moisture Management for Quality Prints
Nylon filaments absorb moisture easily, which can cause printing defects like bubbles.
It is essential to dry the filament before printing (80°C for 3-6 hours) and store it in a sealed bag with desiccants to maintain filament quality.

05 Is a heated bed required?
Yes, a heated bed with temperatures between 70°C and 100°C is necessary to reduce warping and improve print quality.
06 How should the filament be stored to avoid moisture absorption?
Keep the filament dry by storing it in a self-sealing bag with desiccant and dry it in an oven at 80°C for 3-6 hours before printing if needed.
07 What printing speed is recommended for this filament?
A printing speed of 20-50 mm/s is advised for optimal results.
08 How can I improve layer adhesion when printing?
Use blue tape or Kapton tape on the heat bed, coat the bed with PVP glue, reduce printing speed, or use a raft adhesion type in your slicer software.
09 What colors does this Nylon filament come in?
This filament is offered in natural, white, and black colors.
10 What are the filament’s mechanical benefits?
The filament offers good wear resistance, relative flexibility, and superior toughness compared to PLA.
Discussion
The plastic arrived on time, vacuum seal intact. Haven't used it yet.
This filament is an absolute disaster to work with, i had horrible time trying to print with it. it kept jamming and bubbling. however this is most likely due to user error. after i dry the filament i should be able to print something out of this material.
Fast delivery. The product I ordered arrived. Now it's drying; the print test will be done later.
