The new version finally solved the problem with printing on the very first label.
But keep in mind that it has a strong vendor lock. You have to buy (a bit expensive) genuine labels that has a chip. It even counts and remembers number of labels in the roll, and it does not allow to print more labels than the chip says.

Very good printer, heavy, easy to handle and interactive.
