This product is a lie, and the password only disconnects the power. When I reconnect it, it opens again, and the password is actually a lie. When I first opened it, I entered a password, and when I closed it again, it opened again. But when I disconnected the power, it stopped. As for the speed, it is real; I am not being unfair to the product, but the password is a lie.
Amazing little device and only scoring lower on delivery as i got smacked with a £50 customs charge for ordering it... so make sure if you are in the uk to add £50 to the price and see if it's still worth it.
A bomb of a product!!! I'm very glad I managed to snag it for 10k!!! Thanks to the seller!!!! ... the only thing is that when you get it, you immediately want to buy a case or cover... but unfortunately, I couldn't find one... I'll make one myself.
A beautiful and useful product, and I recommend this invention to anyone who wants external memory.
I bought this SSD because of its claimed AES encryption and data protection. In fact, I received junk that has nothing to do with safety.
There is no encryption here. The case with a touchpad and password simply cuts off power or USB access to the drive. This is not data protection, but a primitive lock that creates a false sense of security.
Inside there is a regular NVMe SSD without hardware encryption. After disassembling the case, the disk can be read directly without any problems when connected to the laptop. All files are accessible without a password. Any person with physical access can gain full access to the data within a few minutes.
Claims about AES and hardware encryption do not correspond to reality and mislead buyers. The seller refused any compensation despite the evidence provided.
This is not a secure SSD, but expensive junk with a screen and a misleading description. I do not recommend it, especially if real data protection is important to you.
