I can confirm that this product does work fine on an original (real) sega genesis model 3. No it does not play sega cd rom files directly from the cartridge alone. No it does not play md+ cd audio enhanced roms. Not does handle extremely large "homebrew" files such as - paprium, deamons of asteborg or earthion.
That is not to say that it doesn't play "homebrew " games though. Description is deceptive - it does not load roms "instantly". It does play most sega genesis and mega drive games of all regions well. Yes, thus is almost the entire mega dive/genesis library. No, virtue racing does not work.
Yes, sega master system games work and there is an extensive library on this cartridge. No, there are no gamegear games on the cartridge.
This cart works to play most of the sega genesis library. my sibling is happy with it playing all the games.
Well
Doesn't probably work what's so ever, controller won't work on any games and it freezes my console, after 30 minutes of gameplay, save your money and by a true ever drive cart.
