The magnets in this mount are very weak! I had an older version of this mount that looked identical from product photos and it held strong for years but the ball portion of the mount became loose over time. The phone would droop down because of the ball portion loosing tension.

I thought this mount was the same thing and ordered a replacement but it doesn't even hold my pixel 9 xl pro up. The phone keeps slipping and falls as i am driving so it's basically useless. Perhaps the mount is good for lighter/smaller phones. For reference, my phone is ~221 grams, similar weight to the iphone 16 pro max so be careful if you have a larger or heavier phone.
