You sold me a 2tb ssd that cannot store 2tb. It cannot store a fraction of it.
The drive accepts writes, reports success, and then silently throws the data away. No error, no warning, nothing in the system log. That is worse than a drive that simply fails β it lets the buyer believe their backups exist when they do not.
In three weeks this drive destroyed its filesystem three times. The superblock logged 379 errors. Thousands of consecutive inodes came back as pure garbage β every single bit set to 1. The repair tool could not even finish; it aborted halfway through.
I used this drive for backups. Every backup written to it since 17 july is worthless. If i had needed them, they would not have been there.
The refund window has closed, so i am not asking you for anything. I am telling you what you are selling, and i will be describing it in detail in my public review and reporting the listing.
