Simplified Setup for Classic Gaming

The DSPico Flashcart features a straightforward design with only the PICO card and a plastic shell, firmware pre-installed for easy plug-and-play use. Simply prepare your own FAT32-formatted micro SD card to get started, with required files downloadable from community forums or via customer service.

Reliable Micro SD Slot Design

Equipped with a push-pull micro SD card socket, the DSPico Flashcart ensures direct and secure insertion and removal without risk of the card springing out or mechanical failure.

  • Supports micro SD cards formatted to FAT32
  • Direct insertion and extraction with push-pull socket
  • Avoids spring mechanism failures

Dual Power and Connectivity Options

Powered simultaneously by USB and DS console through an ORing circuit, providing reliable operation. Comes with a micro USB port; however, data transmission capability depends on the cable used, as some cables support charging only.

  • Dual power support via USB and DS console
  • Micro USB port for connectivity
  • Micro-USB version features sealed covers to prevent oxidation

Broad Game Compatibility

Compatible with approximately 80% to 90% of the DS and GBA game libraries, as well as most homebrew applications. It does not support native 3DS game files, focusing mainly on DS content.

  • Supports majority of DS and GBA titles
  • Homebrew applications compatible
  • No native 3DS game support

Recommended Usage Notes

To avoid system lag or freezes, use a compatible, reasonably fast micro SD card. It's advised to delete the '.bcstm' background music file, as playing it can cause freezing when in the menu interface.

  • Use FAT32-formatted SD cards
  • Avoid low-speed 1GB to 4GB SD cards
  • Remove '.bcstm' background music file for stability

I bought 4 of these. i bought the version that comes without an sd cart they all came preflashed with wrfuxxed, which is the current cfw with the widest compatibility, and they all work as they should without issues. the carts run on all ds family consoles, nds, ndsl, ndsi, 3ds and 2ds, both modded and stock. i tested the carts on four different systems: ds lite, dsi, 3ds and new 3dsl. these are the cheapest dspico carts i've found so far, and you get what you pay for. they are of noticeably lower quality than dspicos sold by the chisfamily. the tolerances for fitting the game cart slot is a tiny bit off, the cart doesn't slide in or out of the game cart slot as easily as my higher quality chiscart dspicos. it can be difficult to get the cart back out. the micro sd card inside these carts sits in a simple reader without push to eject function, like the more expensive chiscart version has. all in all, well worth the money.

The firmware was the best option but had to figure out by myself how to check it.
