Advanced Save Storage for Classic Consoles

Bitfunx PSxMemCard Gen2 is a modern memory card emulator that supports PlayStation1 (PS1), PS one, and PlayStation 2 (PS2) consoles. It overcomes traditional memory card limits, allowing unlimited storage of game saves via Micro SD cards up to 2TB.

This device supports virtual memory cards, enabling users to create dedicated storage for each game and automatically detects game IDs to manage saves efficiently.

Wide Compatibility & Exploit Support

The memory card works across PS1, PS one, PS2 fat and slim consoles, as well as certain arcade PS2 systems. It supports launching popular homebrew exploits such as FreeMCBoot, FreePSXBoot, and OpenTuna, enhancing the gaming and modding experience.

Robust Features & Controls

Equipped with a crisp 128×64 pixel OLED screen, the PSxMemCard Gen2 displays system status clearly. Two front buttons offer intuitive menu navigation and easier control.

A front USB-C port enables straightforward firmware updates to keep the device current.

Expandable Storage & Virtual Memory Options

Supports Micro SD cards up to 2TB, vastly exceeding standard memory card capacity limits. The included 8GB card can store over 60,000 PS1 saves or 8,000 PS2 saves, leveraging high-capacity modern storage.

Users can choose virtual memory card sizes from 1MB up to 64MB for PS2 games according to their needs.

Pre-Installed Software and Customization

Ships pre-loaded with FMCB 1.966 for PS2 fat consoles and FunTuna RS for PS2 slim consoles in BootCart, providing ready-to-use homebrew capabilities.

Users can install, replace, or update homebrew software independently if needed.

Important Usage Notes

Supports experimental MMCE Beta 2 software for running games directly from the SD card, though this function is not yet fully stable; caution is advised.

the box it came in took some damage but the contents inside are fine, decent packaging. Have not got to try it out yet but looking forward to trying it out. I think using it as a memory card is very straight forward but loading your games from disc is going to take some studying for me.

It is just like it appears in the ad, need to do some research to use it how I plan, which is loading my disc directly to it so don't need to run games off the disc drive. If I can figure it out, it will be amazing and should be a fun project to try. Fingers crossed.
