The box was torn and some parts were missing.

Works fine!
But don't forget to press the clamp down to create vacuum, or else it will fall off. People who complain about that, probably have not done that. Here it fits very very tight. The glue is not just there for glueing, but to make sure, no air slips though.
Take some time to find the right placement on the dashboard. It can be done in many ways, but not all are very practical.
Con: the knob to fix the rotating arm has to be tightenet very very strong, or else the phone will drop a little bit.
