Tested on a regular 2.5" HDD, everything works fine, the drive itself just doesn't support higher speeds, I think it will work fine on an SSD too.

It works, for the price I paid it's acceptable.
Pros: easy hdd installation, works just like in the photo.
Cons: the back of the cover is loose. Not a dealbreaker, though—double-sided tape will fix it.
