This is a very low quality item and is unusable. I tried using it to mount on my bmw r12 g/s but found that it is unusable. I have already thrown it in the trash.
1.) The mount was scratched because it was packed with other loose metal parts including screws and a hex wrench that scratched the paint.
2.) The mounting ball is smooth and shiny and does not grip any of my mounts tightly enough to be useful.
3.) The screw hole was cross threaded and the screw could not screw in straight or secure the mount.
4.) Materials and mount shims are cheap and low quality.
