I liked the plastic in the print, turn off the airflow and everything will work out.
OPY Transparent PC 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm 1kg
1.75mm transparent polycarbonate filament ideal for 3D printers and pens.
Rigid and high impact resistance for durable prints.
Prints at 250–280°C with >110°C heated bed.
Compatible with popular 3D printers.
Durable Transparent Polycarbonate
OPY transparent PC filament offers excellent mechanical properties with superior impact resistance while maintaining remarkable rigidity. Its transparency surpasses other materials, making it ideal for clear functional parts.
This filament supports precision printing while providing strong, reliable results suitable for various applications in 3D printing, including detailed prototypes and durable components.
Wide Printer Compatibility
Designed for compatibility with many leading 3D printer brands, this filament works seamlessly with Makerbot, UP, Luzbot, Leapfrog, Reprap, Ultimaker, Mendel, Prusa, Raise3D, and more.
Its standard 1.75mm diameter and ±0.05mm tolerance ensure consistent feeding and printing without nozzle jams or interruptions.
Optimized Printing Conditions
Print within the precise temperature range of 250°C to 280°C using a heated bed above 110°C to prevent warping and achieve smooth layers.
Employ print speeds of 20-50 mm/s for best infill and surface finish, and consider a sealed printing chamber to enhance performance and prevent material deformation.
Moisture Management for Quality Prints
Polycarbonate filament absorbs moisture, which can cause bubbles if printed wet. Dry filament at 80°C for 3-6 hours prior to use to avoid defects.
Store filament in a self-sealing bag with desiccant to maintain dryness and print quality over time.

Frequently asked questions
01 What material is this filament made of?
This filament is made from polycarbonate (PC), known for its high strength and rigidity.
02 What diameter is the filament?
The filament diameter is 1.75mm with a tolerance of ±0.05mm.
03 What colors does this filament come in?
This specific filament is transparent in color.
04 What temperature range is recommended for printing?
Print temperatures range from 250°C to 280°C.
05 Do I need a heated bed to print with this filament?
Yes, a heated bed temperature greater than 110°C is necessary to reduce warping.
06 Is this filament compatible with my 3D printer?
Yes, it is compatible with a wide range of 3D printers including Makerbot, Ultimaker, Prusa, and others using 1.75mm filament.
07 How should I store this filament?
Store it in a self-sealing bag with desiccant to keep it dry as polycarbonate filament absorbs moisture.
08 Why is drying the filament before printing important?
Drying removes moisture that can cause bubbles and poor extrusion during printing.
09 What print speeds are recommended?
Recommended infill print speeds are between 20 to 50 mm/s for optimal results.
10 Are there any special tips for improving print adhesion with this filament?
To improve layer adhesion, use blue or Kapton tape on the bed, coat with PVP glue, reduce print speed, or use a raft in your slicer settings.
Discussion
The printed product turns out to be very durable. The shrinkage is minimal - the mounting space for a 22-diameter bearing was achieved with a slight stretch (the model had 22.05). Interlayer adhesion is excellent, as is adhesion to PEI. I recommend it.
Everything is printed on the Qidi Q2 with almost default settings.
The plastic arrived quickly, good quality.
