Reliable high-current power support

Designed to handle large power loads of 3D printer hot beds, this MOSFET power expansion board provides a stable current supply of up to 20A under normal cooling conditions.

It completely addresses issues when the bed's load current exceeds the capability of your primary controller, making it essential for high-power setups.

Compatibility and usage

Ideal for use with Anet A8, A6, A2 models and other setups using Black Ramps 1.4 electronics.

Separate power supply path ensures your heat bed receives the required current without stressing the printer controller board.

Electrical performance

Operates stably below 20A maximum current.

Necessary for systems requiring current equal to or greater than 15A, such as a 240W heat bed running on 12V (20A).

Compact design and build quality

Compact footprint of 60 by 50 millimeters fits easily into most 3D printer electronics enclosures.

Manufactured as a high-quality MOSFET voltage regulator module with no harmful chemicals included.

Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01 What is the maximum current this MOSFET power expansion board can handle?

It can operate stably up to a maximum current of 20A under normal cooling conditions.

02 Which 3D printers is this power expansion board compatible with?

This board is compatible with Anet A8, A6, A2, and other printers using the Ramps 1.4 electronics.

03 Why do I need this power expansion board for my 3D printer?

It solves the issue of the hot bed drawing too much current that the main controller cannot handle, ensuring stable power delivery for hot beds requiring currents greater than or equal to 15A.

04 What happens if my hot bed requires more than 15A and I don't use this board?

If your hot bed requires more than 15A and you use a controller board that can only handle 15A, such as the ChiTu controller board, the system will not operate properly without this expansion module.

05 What are the physical dimensions of this MOSFET power expansion board?

The board measures 60mm by 50mm in size.

06 Is this power expansion board suitable for a 12V system?

Yes, it's suitable for 12V power supplies where you require currents of up to 20A to power your hot bed.

07 Does this board require additional cooling to operate at its maximum current?

It requires normal cooling conditions to operate stably at currents up to 20A.

08 Is this product new or refurbished?

The power expansion board is brand new.

09 Are there any hazardous chemicals involved with this product?

No, this product contains no high-concerned chemicals.

10 Can this module help if my 3D printer controller cannot supply adequate current to the heat bed?

Yes, this expansion board supplements the power to the heat bed when the main controller cannot provide sufficient current.

Would be cool if shipping didn't ding the heatsink so hard it is bent, and the jst terminated wire hadn't been pressed into an exposed pin on the solder side of the pcb. there is a bridge rectifier adjacent to the jst connection: the polarity of the bed heater control connection to the printer mainboard should be unimportant. install went smooth on my printer, device works - red led is power to the board, blue is fet is on (heating).
