Beautiful piece of kit, exceptionally made. designed for camera with top plate ( or cage)to be placed into base plate with just two turns of knob, as little screws catch in recess ( this stops camera falling out when releasing also) . to slide tip plate or camera and cage in you must turn knob three turns to release it enough for screws not to catch. a very simple way to keep camera safe.
Excellent, as described. I've been looking for something like this for a long time to digitize films without having to adjust the correct distances every time. This support has exactly the thickness I need.
Metal construction. quality seems "good enough". fit and finish isn't amazing, but it will do the job and it was cheap.
Good value for money! recommended!
