No, installation is straightforward by attaching cameras to the headrest and connecting to the dashboard monitor and power.
Cable length is good how ever there is not enough between where it splits of to do a rear face and front face unless u run from side view. a small extension piece would fix this problem. if running rear both or front both will work perfectly. screen is larger then expected dosnt squish the image. quilty is good apart from connections will be running some tape for reinforcement.
