Flexible Infrared Photography
This adjustable infrared filter allows photographers to capture images across a variable range of IR wavelengths from 530nm to 750nm with a simple twist of the wrist. Its index marks provide precise wavelength control, enabling creative freedom in infrared photography without needing multiple filters.
Broad Compatibility
Designed to fit lenses ranging from 46mm up to 82mm, this filter suits a wide range of camera and camcorder models. Its circular shape and metal ring construction ensure durable performance and easy attachment.
Versatile Applications
Ideal for diverse professional and artistic uses including archaeology, military and police investigations, medical science applications, and landscape or vegetation photography. The IR filter reveals otherwise invisible details and creates unique visual effects by blocking visible light and passing infrared wavelengths.
Optimized Infrared Performance
The filter effectively blocks visible and ultraviolet light, allowing mid-infrared wavelengths to pass through. Recommended wavelength settings include 590nm to 630nm for coloration effects, 680nm for indoor and shadow areas, and 750nm for low-light and cloudy environments, providing flexibility depending on your photographic needs.
Quality Optical Design
Crafted from optical glass and housed in a metal ring, this filter provides clear imaging quality and reliable mechanical durability. It is a precision tool for infrared imaging that supports advanced photographic work.

Product FAQ
Frequently asked questions
01 What sizes does this adjustable IR filter fit?
This IR filter fits camera lenses with thread sizes ranging from 46mm to 82mm.
02 What is the wavelength range adjustable on this filter?
The filter can be adjusted to allow infrared wavelengths from approximately 530nm up to 750nm.
03 What materials is this infrared filter made of?
The filter uses optical glass for the lens element and a metal ring for the filter body.
04 How does this filter affect visible light?
It blocks visible light below the selected wavelengths, allowing various mid-infrared wavelengths to pass through for infrared photography.
05 Can I use this filter for landscape photography?
Yes, the filter is suitable for plant vegetation and landscape photography, producing dramatic infrared effects.
06 Is the filter coated for protection or special effects?
No special coating is specified for this filter.
07 Are there recommendations on how to get the best infrared effect?
It is recommended to remove the standard IR-blocking filter on CCD or CMOS sensors and adjust white balance; post-processing can also help achieve desired IR effects.
08 What types of photography or applications is this IR filter used for?
The filter can be used in archaeology, military, police work, medical science, detective work, and special photographic effects.
09 Does the filter block ultraviolet light?
Yes, infrared filters block visible light under related wavelengths and are sensitive to ultraviolet rays, effectively blocking them.
10 Is this filter suitable for indoor and low-light conditions?
Filters tuned around 680nm and 750nm are suitable for indoor and weaker light or shadow conditions.
