Closer focus for stunning macro shots

The Viltrox DG-Z extension tubes let your Nikon Z lens focus closer than usual, magnifying your subject for captivating macro photography. These tubes are essential for photographers looking to explore fine details without investing in a dedicated macro lens.

Each tube increases the distance between your camera sensor and lens to reduce minimum focusing distance without sacrificing optical quality.

Supports autofocus and full exposure control

Equipped with built-in metal electronic contacts, the tubes maintain communication between lens and camera. This ensures autofocus, automatic exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO adjustments remain fully functional during macro shooting.

Versatile tube lengths for varied macro distances

Included are 12mm and 24mm tubes that can be used individually or combined. This flexibility lets you adjust the extension length to suit different macro subjects and desired magnifications.

Durable build with precision design

Crafted with aluminum bayonet mounts and metal contacts, the tubes provide a seamless and secure connection between your Nikon Z camera and lens. The robust construction ensures reliable performance during active shooting sessions.

Pros: macro rings are micro rings, they perform their function adequately. Autofocus works, although not entirely stable (it's possible to account for the fact that the lens itself does not have a macro function and I did not close the aperture below 11).
Disadvantages: poor quality execution. I have a Viltrox FTZ adapter, and its quality is significantly better than these macro rings, although it only costs a couple of thousand more. However, there is a noticeable drop in the quality of the metal mount, and it can be seen that it slightly scratches the cheap kit 24-50 lens. I attached a photo with it.
