The spring is strong enough to snap into place without any problems. In my case, due to the shape of the dashboard, it sometimes seems to wobble a bit, but I solved it by adding a little soft thickness (a piece of sponge).

The phone's grip on the holder is good, but in my opinion the attachment/detachment system is not very practical. If the phone is heavy enough, the arm tends to loosen, so it may be necessary to tighten the various screws of the joint a bit.

That being said, and in relation to the price, it seems to me that overall it's a product that does what it's supposed to.
