Defective item. Because I trusted the store, I took a while to test the 3 modules. When I did, the LEDs on all three modules did not light up. What a shame, now I'm going to be at a loss.

Discussion
Very good, I did quick tests and it worked perfectly.
Very well finished and easy to use
Nice little module, quality of build seems ok. haven't gotten to test it yet, just started it on a build that was already able to run another similar module. will get back with extra details once it's up and running.
This ad clearly shows the decoder ic is the gd3002d. I purchased the dfplayer from this reseller because i specifically wanted the gd3200d and not the td5580a that was received. The different clone mp3 decoders do not all work the same and have varying levels of compatibility.
Since already have a dfplayer with the td5580a, this purchase was pretty much useless and wasted more time. Moreover, the one purchased here appears to be defective when swapped with the first td5580a that tests fine.
Due to the variations of the mp3 decoder ics, it is very important that resellers show the exact one that they are selling and shipping.
