I am satisfied with the purchase - it is easy to assemble, and the accuracy of operation is comparable to devices with an external resonator. β« lack of thermal stabilization, decent (no noticeable displacement over a day). Judging by the pinout, a low-power microcontroller CSU8RP3216 (or a similar one from this series) has been used - less than 1 mA in active mode and 1β2 Β΅A in sleep mode, so the batteries will last a long time.
And, most importantly, the case easily accommodates a round 1.28" TFT display (if desired, you can even squeeze in a 1.77" one). So, on 42x47mm boards, you can assemble various interchangeable devices, whatever your imagination comes up with.
Really beautiful and cool.
For children, this is educational; the child can show his friends a watch that he assembled with original and non-commercial features.
I am a small circuitry electronic technician and design engineer for 50 years. This was supposed to be a fun novelty project. It does not work. Everybody lights up and i can set the time but the time does not change. Colon blinks each second but the 7 segment displays do not change minute by minute. Either the xtal does not oscillate or the 20 pin dip is bad. Others on here have had the same problem. Don't waste your money.
