So far they work perfectly out of the box, connect easily and fit very flush to your ear. definitely not for proper music listening, too much bass, and barely any mids. for watching youtube to sleep they are perfect, clear enough vocals and the fit is perfect for a side-sleeper like me, you barely feel it. one oddity is that they are so loud. i use them on one bar of volume on my iphone, anything beyond is actually unbearable and distortion hell.
The sound is good for the price. Can be comfortably worn under a motorcycle helmet.
