    OnePlus Nord 5 and CE5 launched in UAE: Specs, Features, Price, and Everything You Need to Know

    The two most awaited OnePlus phones, OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5, have finally arrived. The former is equipped with a Qualcomm chipset, while the latter comes with a MediaTek chipset. Both these phones are equipped with high refresh rate displays and big batteries. The OnePlus Nord 5 is the more premium of the two, with a better display, camera, and chipset; however, the CE 5 packs a larger capacity battery.

    OnePlus Nord 5: Specs and Features

    The OnePlus Nord 5 sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication.

    The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen chipset, which is an octa-core chipset based on a 4nm manufacturing process and clocked at up to 3.3 GHz. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

    The OnePlus Nord 5 features a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with optical image stabilization. This is the same primary camera used on the OnePlus 13s. The main camera is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera. At the front, it has a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor for selfies and video calls.

    The Nord 5 packs a 6,800mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. It gets an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device runs Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top.

    OnePlus Nord CE 5: Specs and Features

    The Nord CE 5 features a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a peak brightness of 1,430 nits and an optical under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

    The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chip. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 4nm manufacturing process and clocked at up to 3.3GHz. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

    In the camera department, the Nord CE 5 gets dual rear cameras, including a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8MP OV08D10 (OmniVision) lens. At the front, it has a 16MP Sony IMX480 sensor for selfies.

    The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is equipped with a 7,100mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. Connectivity options and software remain the same on this phone.

    OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5: Price and Availability

    The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant starts at Rs 31,999 (roughly AED 1,372). The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 34,999 (roughly AED 1,500), while the top-of-the-line model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage comes in at Rs 37,999 (roughly AED 1,630).

    Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 starts at Rs 24,999 (roughly AED 1,072) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 26,999 (roughly AED 1,158). Finally, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 28,999 (roughly AED 1,244).

    The OnePlus Nord 5 is available in Dry Ice, Marble Sands, and Phantom Grey colourways. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 5 comes in Black Infinity, Marble Mist, and Nexus Blue colour options.

    The two phones have already been listed on the official OnePlus Middle East website. However, it doesn’t mention when the phones are going on sale. We will update the article as we receive the information.
