Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K80 Ultra in China on Thursday. The device is a mid-range offering aimed at people looking for a performance-centric device. The phone has a minimal design with a matte finish on the rear. It sports a 6.83-inch display and a humongous 7,410mAh battery.
The Redmi K80 Ultra is offered in four colour options—Sandstone Ash, Spruce Green, Ice Blue, and Moon Rock White. The phone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution OLED panel. The display has a 144Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate.
The Redmi K80 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 3nm manufacturing process and clocked at up to 3.6GHz. The chipset is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
In the camera department, the phone gets a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. At the front, it has a 20MP camera for selfies.
The Redmi K80 Ultra is powered by a 7,410mAh battery with support for 100W charging. The device gets an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. The K80 Ultra measures 163.08 × 77.93 × 8.18mm and weighs 219g. Connectivity options on this device include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

Redmi K80 Ultra starts at CNY 2,599 (roughly AED 1,299) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB variants are priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly AED 1,499), CNY 2,799 (roughly AED 1,399), and CNY 3,299 (roughly AED 1,649), respectively. Moreover, the top-of-the-line model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage comes in at CNY 3,799 (roughly AED 1,899).
