Honor has launched a new entry-level tablet, Honor Pad X7. The tablet is aimed at budget-conscious users looking for a compact device. Unlike most modern tablets, it has some really thick bezels on the display. The Honor Pad X7 is equipped with Snapdragon 680 chipset and 6GB RAM. The tablet is priced at SAR 449 (approx AED 440) for the 4GB + 128GB variant.
The Honor Pad X7 features an 8.7-inch TFT LCD (IPS) display with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and offers up to 625 nits peak brightness in sunlight mode. The screen has an 85% screen-to-body ratio and covers the NTSC colour gamut with 8-bit colour depth.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset built on a 6nm process. It includes an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.9GHz. The Pad X7 comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
In terms of cameras, the tablet offers an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera for video calls and selfies. It runs Android 15 out of the box and includes a 7,020mAh battery (6,900mAh rated) with support for 10W wired charging and reverse wired charging.
The Pad X7 has a metal back panel and weighs 365g. It measures 211.8mm x 124.8mm x 7.99mm. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.
