The next OnePlus flagship, aka the OnePlus 15, is expected to make its debut in October this year. But it won’t be launched alone. Instead, the company is said to launch the OnePlus Ace 6 alongside the flagship phone. To recall, the OnePlus 13 was launched in October last year, so the upcoming phone is in line with last year’s launch timeline.
According to a new leak from Digital Chat Station, the company will shift from its usual staggered release strategy by launching the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 together this year. The OnePlus 15 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, while the Ace 6 may feature the SM8845 chip, which might be named Snapdragon 8s Gen 5.
The OnePlus 15 is tipped to come with a lower 1.5K resolution panel in comparison to the QHD+ panel on the OnePlus 13. It may also ditch the Hasselblad branding, as the three-year partnership has ended between the two brands. The device is said to replace the iconic alert slider with a new Plus Key. Finally, the OnePlus 15 is rumoured to offer the best battery life ever on a OnePlus flagship.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 6 is expected to come with a larger 6.83-inch OLED screen. It could also be the first phone to debut with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 5 chipset.
