Honor recently launched a bunch of devices, including the world’s slimmest foldable, the Honor Magic V5. Now, a fresh leak has appeared, suggesting that the tech giant will launch another foldable device very soon. This will be a clamshell foldable phone dubbed the Honor Magic V Flip 2. It will take over the original Magic V Flip, which was launched in June last year.
The leak comes from popular tipster Digital Chat Station, who believes that Honor’s next clamshell foldable is arriving in August this year.
The Honor Magic V Flip 2 is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED inner display and a 4-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED cover panel. It could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, but it won’t be the Elite.
In the camera department, the phone will have dual outward cameras, including a 50MP main sensor. This sensor is likely to be the same as the one that appeared in the original V Flip.
The Honor V Flip 2 could be powered by a 5500mAh battery with support for either 66W or 80W wired charging.
To recall, the original Honor V Flip came with a 6.8-inch inner display. It was powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The device was equipped with two cameras, including a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens. At the front, it had a 50MP camera for selfies. Finally, the device was powered by a 4800mAh battery with 66W charging support.
